Soft starts and drive train protection
TRI makes fluid couplings for diesel engines, soft starts and drive train protection. The TRI fluid coupling is constructed from steel components. The coupling can be configured to drive a belt sheave or an inline direct drive.
The TRI fluid coupling has a patented design which reduces the length of the coupling. This feature allows our fluid coupling to be installed in mobile equipment without exceeding the maximum vehicle width.
Oil for the TRI fluid couplings is provided from an internal driven gear pump. An external pump can be accomodated. The oil in the TRI Fluid coupling is fully contained within the housing and tank. There are no fuse plugs to replace and none of the danger associated with blown fuse plugs.
