TRI Bearings and Shop Services Solve Gearbox Problems

Turbo Research Solutions for Gearbox Problems

TRI software analyzes exiting rotor and bearing applications and calculates the optimum bearing design with the proper clearances, length and orientation.
TRI manufacture standard and non-standard bearings to suit the precise dimensions of the mating journal and housing bore.
TRI manufactures and installs shaft seals which have been designed with small clearances and other leak prevention features.

TRI installs vibration and temperature sensors at the proper location.
TRI machines the housing bores to restore alignment (where needed).
TRI modifies the lube oil system (where needed).
TRI uses replacement gears from various gear manufacturers per the customer’s needs and specifications.

Gearboxes built or rebuilt by TRI carry heavier loads and have lower
rotor vibrations throughout the load range, from max. load to no load !!!
